“The Raping of Ava DeSantis” Replaces “Fifty Shades of Grey” As the Most Surprising Mainstream Bestseller

Highly anticipated horror novel debuts as #1 Bestseller in New Releases and #1 Bestseller in American Horror weeks before it’s official release date of October 13, 2015.

Readers of E.L. James “Fifty Shades of Grey” series will devour the debut novel from Hollywood screenwriter turned author MYLO CARBIA. Why? Because if you’re willing to break out of your usual genre, then this book is definitely for you.

Set in 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia, The Raping of Ava DeSantis tells the story of a working class college student who is brutally attacked by three wealthy fraternity brothers, then confronted with the decision of a lifetime: accept money to stay quiet or seek justice with the police. What she does in response is the basis of this captivating woman’s revenge thriller that will have readers talking for years to come.

With brilliantly written characters, bone-chilling, fast-paced scenes and a double twist ending, The Raping of Ava DeSantis is the perfect blend of suspense, thriller and horror — guaranteed to entertain both female and male readers alike.

The fictional horror-thriller is based on a screenplay Hollywood screenwriter Mylo Carbia originally optioned with a major studio, but was never green-lit due to the gruesome nature of several scenes: particularly the raping of an eighteen-year-old college student by three wealthy fraternity brothers which Carbia purposefully skips in the novel. Instead, the book version follows the aftermath of the event, including the hush money paid to the victim and the revenge she seeks against their loved ones decades later.

Called “Best Thriller Of The Year” by Top10Novels and “Horror’s next New York Times Bestseller” by All Indie Magazine — coupled with the fact that international websites began selling fake black market copies of the book online — inspired Rockefeller Publishing to release the paperback version of the book one month ahead of schedule on Amazon instead.

“The Raping of Ava DeSantis” by Mylo Carbia is currently on sale exclusively on Amazon.com (http://www.Amazon-Bestsellers-2015.com) and will be available in both print and eBook formats on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple iBooks, Kobo and 30,000 other bookstores worldwide on October 13, 2015.

Best book of the year so far in our humble opinion!

Gay Fiction Surging Up The Amazon Charts By Jay Stewart

MTF_square Would it surprise you to know that gay fiction is a hot literary commodity these days? LGBT books are now reaching the top of the charts with m/m (male/male) romance leading the forefront. Which may make you wonder, are there that many gay men buying these? There are, but the true success is coming from women reading gay novels and even more, women writing gay novels. That’s right, gay fiction doesn’t necessarily come from gay authors. Readers love m/m romance books that are openly written by women authors.

Some may scoff at this notion, but it’s the truth, and the book sales that these women writing gay novels are achieving are astounding. Many are even Moms with children that are finding financial success with writing LGBT books. Before judging, why not take a cost free chance on a gay romance author? That’s right, you can get free books on Amazon including books listed within the gay romance genre. There are a ton of options out there. Author Aria Grace, who offers her book More Than Friends for free, explains why she doesn’t charge for her best-selling novel. “One of the best ways to introduce gay fiction to new readers is to give them a free sample. Sometimes they like it and sometimes they don’t. But I’d rather let them figure it out for free without having to risk even a few dollars on a new author.” I’ve read it and it’s a tantalizing m/m romance following previously straight Ryan who discovers that he has feeling for a guy for the first time.

There is no reason to hesitate, go ahead, and download More Than Friends by Aria Grace for free to your computer, tablet, or smartphone using the Kindle App. You can then read for yourself why women writing gay novels and in particular, m/m romances, are surging up the amazon charts.
